Brief Description

Work is underway with Cab Calloway Legends Park, which will scheduled to become part of Baltimore City Department of Recreation and Parks' inventory   The above design was created by the residents of Druid Heights with Design Collective.  The Baltimore Green Network was able to secure a $200,000 grant to remove the impervious surface of the 2200 block of Division.  Water and sewer lines are being properly abandoned and trees have already begun to be planted.   This 2.6 acre park will be overlooked by 43 affordable townhomes for first-time homebuyers created by Druid Heights Community Development Association and 16 three-story rowhomes that overlook the park at the 2200 block of Druid Hill Avenue which are being renovated by Druid Heights Community Association. (December 31, 2020)
