Brief Description

The Patapsco Trail envisioned to travel between Carroll County, Howard County, Anne Arundel County, and Baltimore City in its namesake river valley.   The trail would connect with the BWI Trail, The B&A Trail, and the Middle Branch Trail, the Gwynns Falls Trail,  as well as the 35 mile loop. "March 2017

TheBaltimore Metropolitan Council(BMC), on behalf of the Baltimore Regional Transportation Board, is conducting a study to develop a concept plan for the Patapsco Regional Greenway, a 10-to-12 foot wide, accessible trail through the Patapsco Valley from the Inner Harbor of Baltimore to Sykesville in Carroll County.  The greenway is planned to pass through or near the communities of Cherry Hill, Baltimore Highlands, Halethorpe, Elkridge, Catonsville, Ellicott City, Oella, Daniels, Woodstock and Marriotsville."
